The Covered Bridge Festival is something very unique to this area. Parke County in Indianna has several of these Covered Bridges (seen in background), and they hold these huge Festivals for two weeks each year. There are actually 3 places where the Festival is held - all simultaneously. And Vendors sell items from all over. There is actually a website dedicated to this. We go to it usually twice every year. 2007-10-14
